We purchase the following commodities: kitchen counter tops, cabinets, top soil, sod, grass, plants, small and large business equipment (including printers), tires, rims, lumber, wood products, forms, business cards, continuous forms, newsletters, stamps, pesticides, janitorial supplies, computers, systems furniture, roofing materials, paving materials, hot and cold mix, gravel, copy machines, duplicators, doors (wood, steel, glass), wiring, breakers, vinyl, ceramic tiles, adhesives, furnaces, cooling, air conditioners, office supplies, hinges, locks, door locks, knobs, electric tools, hand tools, signs, and labels.
The Purchasing Department seeks to promote open and fair competition in contracting and provide quantifiable safeguards by maintaining a centralized procurement system of quality and integrity; and to assure that Authority purchasing actions are in full compliance with applicable Federal standards, HUD regulations, and State and local laws.
