TAKE NOTICE THAT A REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF EL PASO, TEXAS WILL BE HELD AT         5300 EAST PAISANO, EL PASO, TEXAS WEDNESDAY, APRIL 27, 2016                         COMMENCING AT 5:30 P.M.

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

11.       DISCUSSION AND ACTION REGARDING RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER TO SUBMIT A GRANT APPLICATION TO THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT FOR THE FY2016 PH AND HCV FAMILY SELF-SUFFICIENCY (FSS) PROGRAMS – GRANT AMOUNT IS $101,794. 

12.       DISCUSSION AND ACTION REGARDING RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER TO SUBMIT A GRANT APPLICATION TO THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT FOR THE FY2016 RESIDENT OPPORTUNITY AND SELF-SUFFICIENCY (ROSS) SERVICE COORDINATORS GRANT FUNDING – GRANT AMOUNT IS $250,000.

13.       DISCUSSION AND ACTION REGARDING RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER TO SUBMIT A GRANT APPLICATION TO THE PASO DEL NORTE HEALTH FOUNDATION TO INITIATE AND IMPLEMENT A “THINK CHANGE” PROJECT FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR – GRANT AMOUNT IS $350,000. 

14.       DISCUSSION AND ACTION REGARDING RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR THIRTEEN ADDITIONAL HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHERS FOR THE HUD VETERANS AFFAIRS HOUSING (VASH) PROGRAM.   

15.       DISCUSSION AND ACTION REGARDING RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FIVE-YEAR PHA PLAN FOR THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF EL PASO’S ELEVEN COMMUNITIES AND SEVENTY-FOUR SCATTERED SITES FOR THE RAD CONVERSION OF THESE PROPERTIES. 

16.       DISCUSSION AND ACTION REGARDING RESOLUTION AMENDING AND RESTATING RESOLUTION APPROVING ISSUANCE BY ALAMITO PUBLIC FACILITIES CORPORATION OF THE ALAMITO PUBLIC FACILITIES CORPORATION MULTIFAMILY HOUSING REVENUE NOTE, SERIES 2016 (HACEP RAD CONVERSION PROGRAM PHASE IIIC (BAINES AND MOREHEAD APARTMENTS) PROJECT) AND THE ALAMITO PUBLIC FACILITIES CORPORATION MULTIFAMILY HOUSING REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 2016 (HACEP RAD CONVERSION PROGRAM PHASE IIIC (BAINES AND MOREHEAD APARTMENTS) PROJECT); AND CONTAINING OTHER PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE SUBJECT. 

17.       DISCUSSION AND ACTION REGARDING RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF EL PASO (THE “AUTHORITY”) TO AUTHORIZE THE AUTHORITY TO ENTER INTO A GROUND LEASE WITH EL PASO RAD IB, LTD (THE “PARTNERSHIP”), GRANTING THE PARTNERSHIP SITE CONTROL OF CHARLES C. MOREHEAD AND GEORGE W. BAINES APARTMENTS (THE “PROJECTS”), IN ORDER TO DEVELOP AND REHABILITATE THE PROJECTS AS DEVELOPMENTS DEDICATED FOR LOW-INCOME PERSONS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE LAWS AND REGULATIONS UNDER THE FEDERAL LOW INCOME HOUSING TAX CREDITS (“LIHTC”) PROGRAMS AND TO FURTHER TAKE SUCH ACTIONS NECESSARY OR CONVENIENT TO FACILITATE THE DEVELOPMENT AND REHABILITATION AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE PROJECTS.
