Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
To help the City of El Paso attain is renewable energy goals, HACEP installed seven electric vehicle charging stations at five sites around the City. These stations are designed for cars that use only electricity to travel from point A to point B. Drivers of vehicles such as the Nissan Leaf activate the charging station, plug it in, and after a couple of hours, have enough juice in their battery to continue their journey. These stations are conveniently located at the following public housing sites:

Public Notices & Meetings
The Board of Commissioners meet every fourth Wednesday of the month in the Board Room located at 5300 East Paisano Drive. The meetings begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. and are open to the public. Occasionally, the Board of Commissioners also conducts Special Meetings that also occur in the Board Room but may begin at various times. All agendas for HACEP’s public meetings are posted with the County of El Paso, the City of El Paso, and to this website at least 72 hours prior to the start of each meeting. The minutes of each meeting are generally posted to this website within three business days after Board approval.
Members of the public and residents who wish to address the Board must sign up prior to the start of each meeting on the sign-in sheet located in the lobby. Public comment is limited to three minutes for each speaker, but may be extended by the Board upon request.
